ISKMEBig Ideas Fest is a project of The Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME), a pioneer in knowledge sharing and educational innovations. ISKME is best-known for its award-winning OER Commons initiative, as well as its international research agenda on information and knowledge use in the education sector. ISKME’s research and development efforts enable schools, colleges, universities, and the organizations that support them, to expand their capacity to collect and share information, apply it to well-defined problems, and create human-centered, knowledge-driven environments focused on learning and success.

An independent, nonprofit research institute established in 2002, ISKME was named as an Education Laureate by the San Jose Tech Museum for its development of OER Commons, an open teaching and learning network. Learn more about ISKME and the breadth of its projects at www.iskme.org.
