Gabrielle Lyon, of Project Exploration, explains how her organization uses high-caliber out of school science programs to inspire kids to become interested in science, to maintain that interest and to use the spark of intrigue to pursue a career in science if they so choose. In a 10-year study, Project Exploration found that 95 percent of the students they served were on track to graduate, and with an eye on how the program impacts participants for the long haul, this talk explores the question, "How do you design for a program that never ends?"
