Inspired to make American students more globally competitive, Tony Jackson, Vice President for Education with the Asia Society, redesigned his schools using four teaching techniques to make students globally competent: 'investigating the world,' 'recognizing perspective,' 'communicating ideas,' and 'taking action.' In Jackson's view, teaching students this way will propel them to succeed not only in our country, but also in the world.
