Former middle school science teacher, Christopher Rush, knew that students weren't getting what they needed from school, so he and his colleagues developed a learning algorithm to test students and find what they need, how they need it, and when they need it. By using technology to free up the teachers, and using a combination of group learning, one-on-one learning, and online tutoring programs, each student in School of One now learns what they need, when they need it and in the manner that works best for them.
