ISKME’s Big Ideas Fest is an extraordinary immersion into collaboration and design that focuses on transformational change in K-20 education. Big Ideas Fest convenes education mavericks from organizations that serve K-12, higher education, and informal learning, with opportunities for cross-fertilization of ideas among all education stakeholders. The theme for Big Ideas Fest 2016 was Educating to Be Human and focused on looking at education and innovation in the context of what it means to be human while clearly articulating the need for education to support humanity not merely to survive, but to thrive as a democracy and as a civilization.
